Proper Cycling Posture Helps Protect the Body
On June 3, 2025, CCTV.com released information stating that traffic police departments reminded that when cycling, the height of the bicycle seat should be adjusted such that when the pedal is stepped to the lowest position, the knee is slightly bent at an angle of approximately 170 degrees. During cycling, one should keep the chest up and head held high, maintain the knees and toes pointing forward, and step on the pedal with the front 1/3 of the sole. This helps protect the knees and spine.
